Friendly staff, convenient location near ferry terminal, cozy with fireplace, excellent showers, free Wi-Fi.

Friendly and helpful staff! I was allowed to leave my bag for the day at no extra cost. Free movies, tea, coffee, spices and oil. Very relax, clean and good location.

Dorm rooms dont have a key but there are pay lockers, but was allow to leave my laptop behind the desk. After a day I did feel safe with an unlocked door as it is a small place and the staff seem to know everyone coming and going.

The friendliness of the staff and their helpfulness, fleeting one night stopover for business but very happy

Would have liked the option of there being blue milk aswell as green, would have like to see a specific place to leave keys if leaving before staff arrives for their day

The hostel is located conveniently close to the bus station and it's easy to access the main attractions. the shower facilities in the hostel were clean and nice. being able to use the hot water bottles and hair dryers in our room was a plus!

The Wi-Fi didn't work on our laptops and many guests were also complaining. We were also disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen.

Cute, tidy, we had a room to ourselves which was awesome.

It was convenient, clean and the staff were helpful.

Our beds had no bedding when we arrived at 4 AM. Had to find the closet to get some sheets.

I had a great time at the cozy Fat Cod Backpackers! The dorm room was quiet and clean, with only 4 other guests. The showers and bathroom were always spotless, and the kitchen was well-stocked. I loved the free toast for breakfast and the soup and bread in the evening. The log fire kept the whole place warm and created a lovely atmosphere. The staff and other guests were friendly and chatty, making it a really pleasant stay.

Would be happy to recommend this hostel.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and basic amenities. The location is exceptional, right in the center of town and conveniently located next to the ferry terminal. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms, although small, had a view and ensuite, adding a touch of comfort to the stay.

Everything was fine.

Very noisy as is right next to the train tracks. No free Wi-Fi or Internet offered. Room advertised as a four bunk room but was actually a six bunk room - still charged at the same rate :(

The owners are really friendly and helpful and they make my visit there a comfortable one

The hostel is located in a central area and is close to the ferry, making it very convenient for travelers. the beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly. the kitchen facilities are good. Storage lockers are available and there are bathroom facilities in plenty.

The shower does not have good water pressure and the Wi-Fi does not work on laptops, making it difficult for travelers who need internet access.

Convenience to InterIslander Ferry terminal and helpfulness of desk staff
